How to Cancel Candy AI

Quick answer: log in on the Candy AI website, open My Profile, then Settings, scroll to the bottom and click Unsubscribe. Your Premium access lasts until the end of the period you've paid for, and nothing renews after that.
Step by Step
- Log in to your Candy AI account.
- Open the My Profile menu.
- Click Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom, where your subscription details and the Unsubscribe button are.
- Click Unsubscribe and confirm any prompts. Keep the confirmation email or take a screenshot.
Do it at least a day before your renewal date. On a yearly plan, that's the anniversary of the day you paid.
If You Can't Find Unsubscribe
Some users report seeing only a Delete Account option in the mobile browser. Try the desktop site first. If the button still isn't there, email Candy support at [email protected] with your account email and the last four digits of the card you paid with.
Deleting your account before the renewal date also cancels the subscription, according to Candy's help center. But it permanently removes your characters, chats and images, so only do it if you're sure.
What Happens After You Cancel
- Access: Premium stays active until the end of the current billing period, then the account returns to the free service.
- Your content: chats, images and characters stay as long as the account exists.
- Tokens: Candy's own documents disagree on this. Its help center (updated August 25, 2026) says cancelling doesn't delete your tokens: the balance stays on your account, hidden while you're on the free service, and is usable again if you resubscribe. Its Terms of Service (revised September 22, 2026, section 10.2) say remaining tokens expire at the end of the billing period and don't carry over to a new subscription. Use your tokens before your paid period ends and you're covered either way.
Refunds
Cancelling stops renewals but doesn't refund anything automatically. Candy's help center lists these conditions for a refund request:
- You ask within 24 hours of the payment.
- No more than 20 tokens have been used.
- You paid directly with a debit or credit card.
- The problem isn't caused by your own device or connection.
Candy's terms add that a refunded payment cancels the subscription immediately and removes remaining tokens.
Paid Some Other Way?
If you subscribed through an app store or a third-party payment provider rather than on the website, cancel with that store or provider as well, and check your statement after the renewal date.
