How to Delete Your Candy AI Account
Checked October 27, 2026 against Candy AI's help center articles on deleting an account and on charges after deletion.
Short answer: log in, open My Profile, then Settings, scroll to the Danger Zone and click Delete Account. Deleting before your renewal date also cancels the subscription, but it's permanent and doesn't refund anything.
Step by Step
- Log in to your Candy AI account.
- Open the My Profile menu.
- Click Settings.
- Scroll down past your subscription details to the Danger Zone.
- Click Delete Account and confirm any prompts.
What Deleting Removes
Candy says deletion makes your preferences, usage history and associated personal information permanently unavailable. Expect your characters, chats and images to go with it. Candy also says it's required to keep some data for legally mandated periods; its Privacy Notice has the details.
Does Deleting Cancel the Subscription?
Yes. Candy's help center says deleting an account before the subscription renewal or anniversary date automatically cancels any active subscription. If you only want to stop paying and might come back, cancel instead: you keep Premium to the end of the period and your account stays.
Still Being Charged After Deleting?
Email [email protected] with the email address on the account and the last four digits of the card you paid with, so Candy can find the account. If you paid through an app store or another payment provider, cancel there too and check your statement after the renewal date.
Want a Refund? Ask Before You Delete
Deleting doesn't refund the latest payment. Candy only considers refunds within 24 hours of the payment, with 20 tokens or fewer used and a direct card payment. If you qualify, send the refund request first. Details: Candy AI refund rules.
Before You Delete
- Save any character backstories you've written. Characters don't transfer between apps.
- Download any images you want to keep.
- Use your remaining tokens, if you're past the refund window.
