Short answer: yes, and properly free. Janitor's help center says the free tier includes unlimited chats with millions of bots, access to its standard chat models and a context limit of about 9,000 tokens, and that it will always keep a free option. Janitor+ is optional: $12.99 a month, or $99 a year on the US App Store, for 5× more context, priority replies and better rerolls.

What Costs Extra Even on Janitor+
- Janitor+ Router: lets subscribers use third-party AI models inside Janitor without their own API key. It's billed per token from a wallet you top up; subscribers get $1 of launch credit. Web only for now, and Router credits are non-refundable.
- Your own proxy: free users can still connect an outside model with their own API key; you pay that provider directly.
Refunds and Cancelling
- On the web: Settings, then Billing, then Manage Subscription, which opens Stripe's billing page.
- In the app: cancel through the App Store or Google Play. App subscriptions can't be cancelled on the web.
- Refunds: generally none, except where its terms or the law require. You keep Janitor+ until the end of the period you paid for.
Is Janitor+ Worth It?
If long roleplays fall apart because the bot forgets, 5× context is the main reason to pay.
