SpicyChat Alternatives for Adults
Checked October 27, 2026. SpicyChat figures from its own pricing FAQ, plan pages and help center (checked today); other prices from each app's own pages, as recorded in our individual reviews.
Short answer: if SpicyChat's short memory or its $19.95-a-month image tier is the problem, Candy AI gives unlimited chat plus monthly tokens for images for $47.88 a year. If you want lots of images and video, ourdream.ai includes 1,000 dreamcoins a month. SpicyChat has no affiliate program with us; those two do, and we say so.

Why People Look for SpicyChat Alternatives
- The September 2026 price rise. True Supporter, the first tier with conversation images, went from $14.95 to $19.95 a month ($199.95 a year).
- Short memory on the cheap tiers. Free and Get A Taste both have 4,096 tokens of memory and 180-token replies; SpicyChat estimates that's about 20 recent messages.
- Ads and queues. Free accounts see ads and can be queued at busy times.
- Library over companion. SpicyChat is built for browsing many community characters. Some people want one companion that looks and sounds consistent.

Prices checked October 2026 from each app's own pages, as recorded in our individual reviews. They can differ by country, platform and offer.
1. Candy AI: Images Without the $199 Year
Candy's yearly plan is $47.88 ($3.99 a month). Chat on paid plans isn't metered, and you get 100 tokens a month for generated images, video and voice. That's less than a quarter of SpicyChat True Supporter's $199.95 a year, though SpicyChat doesn't charge per image on that tier. The catches: Candy's free tier is only about 5 messages, and refunds are limited to 24 hours with 20 tokens or fewer used. More: Candy AI review | Is Candy AI worth it?
2. ourdream.ai: The Most Image and Video Credit
ourdream costs $19.99 a month or $119.88 a year and bundles 1,000 dreamcoins a month with unlimited messages. Its help center prices standard images at 10 dreamcoins for 2 images and video at 100 dreamcoins per 5 seconds, so the monthly bundle covers about 200 standard images. You can join free with 55 dreamcoins. More: ourdream.ai review | Is ourdream.ai free?
3. CrushOn.AI: Closest to SpicyChat's Style
If you like browsing user-made characters, CrushOn is the nearest match. Its Free Models are unlimited, but its better Pro models draw on monthly message credits (2,000 on Standard at $5.99 a month). No affiliate deal with us. See CrushOn.AI review and CrushOn.AI alternatives.
4. Kindroid or Nomi: One Companion Who Remembers
If SpicyChat's memory is the real frustration, Kindroid and Nomi are built around a single long-running companion with stronger recall. Neither has an affiliate deal with us. See Nomi vs Kindroid.
5. GirlfriendGPT: Community Characters With Coins
Another library-style site, with messages metered on its Premium and Deluxe plans and coins for images. Premium is $15 a month or $144 a year. See our GirlfriendGPT review.
How to Choose
- You're happy with free text chat: stay on SpicyChat. Its free tier is more usable than Candy's or ourdream's.
- You want pictures and pay yearly: Candy AI is the cheapest way in.
- You make lots of images or video: ourdream.ai's 1,000 monthly dreamcoins go furthest.
- You want long memory with one character: look at Kindroid or Nomi.
Before You Switch
- Cancel where you paid. On SpicyChat's website it's Profile, then Manage Subscription. Google Play purchases (listed as PixelChat) and SubscribeStar must be cancelled there; deleting your account doesn't stop them.
- Check your locked price. If you subscribed before September 8, 2026, SpicyChat says you keep the old price while you stay on the same plan. Changing or lapsing loses it.
- Copy what you want to keep. Characters and chats don't transfer between apps, so save backstories and persona text first.
- Refund window: SpicyChat only refunds direct card payments requested within 24 hours with minimal use.
Every app on this page is for adults 18+. Like SpicyChat, our top picks require every character to be an adult.
